Colleen Bryan, MSNEd, RN, is a Senior Consultant and Lead Educator with JCC Consulting in North Texas. She has worked in home health and hospice since 1996, serving in roles including field nurse, case manager, educator, QA manager, Director of Nursing, and Administrator. Since joining JCC Consulting in 2011, she has led the firm’s educational department as its primary nurse planner and presenter.
Colleen regularly speaks on topics related to home care and hospice operations, compliance, and staff training. She focuses on helping agency leaders implement practical changes that support high-quality care and meet regulatory requirements.
She earned her Master of Science in Nursing Education from Texas Woman’s University and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington.

Melinda A. Gaboury, with more than 33 years in home care, has over 23 years of executive speaking and educating experience, including extensive day to day interaction with home care and hospice professionals. Melinda has profound experience in Medicare PDGM training, billing, collections, case-mix calculations, chart reviews and due diligence. UPIC, RA, ADR & TPE appeals with all Medicare MACs have become the forefront of Melinda’s current impact on the industry. She is currently serving as Chair of the The Alliance/HHFMA Advisory Board and Work Group and is serving on the board of the Home Care Association of Florida and the Tennessee Association for Home Care. As a certified ACHC and CHAP Consultant for Home Health and Hospice, Chris brings over 18 years of diverse leadership experience in the hospice industry. He is also a dedicated member of The National Alliance for Care at Home (The Alliance), member of Home Health and Hospice Financial Managers Association (HHFMA), and serves on the Texas New Mexico Hospice and Palliative Care Organization (TNMHPO) and Texas Association of Home Health and Hospice (TAHC&H) Membership Committees.

J'non Griffin

J’non Griffin is a 36 year veteran of home care as an RN. She received her Master’s Degree in Health Care Administration in 2005. She has experience as a field nurse, director and executive with home health and hospice agencies, both large and small. J’non is certified as a Homecare Coding Specialist-Diagnosis (HCS-D), Certified in OASIS competency, COS-C and HCS-O, Certified in Homecare Coding Specialist-Hospice (HCS-H), Home Care Specialist-Compliance (HCS-C) and is an AHIMA approved ICD-10-CM trainer/ambassador. J’non is an accredited ACHC and CHAP consultant. J’non currently continues her role at SimiTree as the Sr. Vice President of Coding/OASIS department. J’non is also on the board of Home Care Association of Florida. She has also been a frequent contributor to the Decision Health Publication, The Diagnosis Coding Pro, and the Home Health Line. She has published several manuals, and assisted with composition of several online modules for coding and OASIS instruction. Rachel Hammon

Rachel Hammon received her Bachelors of Science degree in Nursing from the University of Texas in Austin. She has 29 years of experience in nursing with 25 years’ experience in the home health industry. During her employment with a home health agency, she served in many roles (i.e. Pediatric Case Manager, Medicare Case Manager, DON / Administrator and Corporate Director of Clinical Services), which gave her a diverse knowledge of the industry. At the Texas Association for Home Care and Hospice Rachel assisted member agencies with compliance with state and federal laws (Medicare, Medicaid, OSHA, BON, etc.), served as a liaison with state and federal government officials, and on the Nurse Practice Advisory Committee for the Board of Nurse Examiners. As the Executive Director, Rachel is responsible for implementing the mission of the association which is to advocate for ethical practices, quality, and economic viability of licensed providers in Texas. As part of that advocacy she routinely works with state and federal legislators and agency staff on legislation and policy that affects the home care industry.
Heidi Kocher

Ms. Kocher is a partner with Liles Parker and has over 20 years of experience in health care legal and compliance-related issues, representing all kinds of health care providers of all size. Her experience includes serving as a chief privacy officer and interim chief compliance officer at a medical device manufacturer. She also served as an outside compliance expert to a hospital and a clinical laboratory that were under Corporate Integrity Agreements. She has significant reimbursement experience, responding to and defending audits, addressing coverage policy issues, challenging denials, recoupments, and loss of billing privileges, obtaining HCPCS codes, and other reimbursement related issues. Her experience also includes implementing Corporate Integrity Agreements, guiding clients through voluntary self-disclosures and seeking advisory opinions from the OIG. In acknowledgement of her expertise, Ms. Kocher has served as a lecturer in the Biomedical Engineering department at the University of Texas at Dallas. Ms. Kocher is licensed in Texas and Maryland and Certified in Healthcare Compliance.

Annette Lee

Annette is a registered nurse, with a Master’s in Health Care Administration, practicing since 1990. For over a decade she worked with the CMS Home Health and Hospice intermediary, Cahaba GBA and CGS, where she provided review of, and education on home health and hospice documentation. She worked as a specialist in the Medical Review, Appeals, and Provider Education departments, and assisted with cross-MAC quality assurance and training.
Annette then founded Provider Insights, Inc. providing consultative support and provider education regarding Medicare reimbursement issues and effective documentation strategies, assisting providers across the nation with Survey Preparation, ADRs and appeals. Today she continues to marry together her experience in the “real world” and the inside knowledge of Medicare to ensure providers can meet the requirements of CMS, and ensure compliant, efficient operations.

In August 2022, Rosalind retired from a 33-year career in state government ending at Texas Health and Human Services, where she was a senior policy specialist for regulation of long-term care including hospice, home health, and personal care, supportive palliative care, assisted living, and day activity and health services industries.
