Safety Plan

Below are the safety precautions and procedures that will be in place throughout the event.

Decisions will be informed by CDC guidelines, as well as local rules and recommendations.

Measures may be adjusted between now and the event so please check back here regularly for the most up-to-date information. Significant updates will be communicated to registered attendees and the final plan will be distributed prior to the event.

As of August 5 2021.

  • In person Conference registration is currently capped at 200 attendees to allow for social distancing in the General Sessions, educational breakouts, and social events. The in person cap may increase as we get closer to the event.

  • To protect the health and safety of all attendees, we ask that you please wear a mask during this event. Learn more about Kalahari Resort Guidelines

  • Registration will be minimal touch.

  • Attendees are expected to observe appropriate infection control practices and not attend any of the in person activities or educational workshops if they are experiencing COVID related symptoms. There are currently no plans to conduct attendee temperature checks or individual screenings.

  • Food and beverage service details will be shared at a later date but will be handled with the utmost attention to safety.

  • As of now, we are only accepting full conference registrations for in person attendance. Single day options for in person attendance will be opened closer to the event if capacity allows.

  • Additional questions may be submitted to TAHC&H and we will answer them to the best of our ability with the information available at that time.

 

Cancellation Policy -

If you must cancel your reservation for any reason, notify TAHC&H, Attn: Jessica Campbell via fax or email (jessica@tahch.org). A 90% refund will be given if written request is received by 9/6/21. A 50% refund will be given if a written request is received 9/7/21-9/10/21. No refund will be made 9/11/21 or after.

 

Illness/COVID Precautions- Updated 8/10/21

If an in-person attendee must cancel their registration due to illness or COVID precautions, the same cancellation refund policy applies as stated above. If you choose not to cancel, you can switch your in-person registration to the virtual option and will still be able to receive all sessions recordings and receive a refund for the registration fee difference. 

 

If a virtual attendee must cancel their registration due to illness, the same cancellation refund policy applies as stated above. If you choose not to cancel, you will still be able to receive all sessions recordings for no additional fees.

 

Technology Errors:

No refunds will be given for technology errors from either the attendee or TAHC&H (host). If the host platform malfunctions, TAHC&H will ensure the content of the program will be delivered at a later date in a live and/or recorded format and will award the corresponding continuing education credits. If the attendee’s hardware, firewalls, internet, or any other technology related entity prohibit them from viewing the live content, TAHC&H will provide the recordings, handouts and CEUs for all sessions paid for by the attendee within 30 days of the live event.
